What is Tether?
Tether (USDT) is the largest stablecoin: a token that Tether Ltd keeps pegged one-to-one to the US dollar with dollar-denominated reserves. In Iran USDT is the most common way to move value, pay internationally and enter the crypto market.
Is USDT priced differently on each network?
No. USDT is issued on many networks — Tron (TRC20), BNB Chain (BEP20), Ethereum (ERC20), Solana, TON and more — but every unit is worth the same. Networks differ only in fees and speed, so EZRate publishes one USDT rate, referenced to Tron and BNB.
How the USDT price in Toman is calculated
The rate is USDT/USD on Binance multiplied by the free-market dollar, checked against the median of USDT trading groups. A small adjustment factor covers the persistent gap between the USDT market and the free-market dollar.
Why USDT differs from the free-market dollar
Demand from crypto exchanges, banking limits on buying and selling, liquidity and transfer risk usually create a small gap between USDT and the free-market dollar.
