API terms

This page sets out the EZRate API terms in plain words. Using the website, the price pages, the tools or the dashboard means you accept it; if anything is unclear, contact support before buying a paid plan. It applies equally to free users and paid plans unless a difference is stated. These terms supplement the Terms of use for developers using the EZRate public API.

01Keys and limits

Each key is personal and must not be published. Daily and monthly limits apply per plan; beyond them the API returns 429.

02Attribution

On the free plan, “Source: EZRate” with a link to ezrate.me must appear next to the rates. Optional on paid plans.

03Caching and redistribution

Caching is allowed and recommended. Reselling raw data or building a competing API on EZRate data is not allowed.

04Availability and versions

We target 99.5% availability. Breaking changes ship only in a new version (e.g. /v2) with 30 days’ notice.

05Suspension

Abuse, key sharing or attacks on the service lead to key suspension without refund.

06Disclaimer

Accuracy is not guaranteed and API data must not be used as an official reference for settling contracts.

07Services covered

This text applies to every EZRate service — from rate pages such as the US dollar, gold and USDT to the rates API, widgets, exchange-office boards and price alerts. Rates are published for information only and EZRate does not buy or sell currency; trading decisions and their consequences are the user’s own, and before a large trade it is best to confirm the final price with a licensed exchange office.

08Changes and contact

This text may be updated as the services grow; the date of the last change is shown at the top and important changes are e-mailed to registered users. For any question use the contact page or the support section of your dashboard.
