Price pages

The gold coin price in Iran for every Central Bank coin is shown above: the Emami coin, Bahar Azadi, half, quarter and gram coins, each with its buy and sell price, intrinsic gold value and bubble, updated every minute from coin traders and price channels.

Emami and Bahar Azadi coin price

The Emami coin price (new design) and the Bahar Azadi coin price (old design) are both for a full coin of 8.133 g at 900 fineness, so they contain the same gold; the Emami coin usually trades a little higher because it is more liquid. Large buyers prefer full coins because their bubble in percent is usually lower.

Half coin price and quarter coin price

The half coin price and the quarter coin price are popular for gifts and gradual saving. They contain half and a quarter of the gold of a full coin, but their bubble in percent is often higher, so compare the bubble before buying. The gram coin (about 1 g) is the cheapest way to buy Central Bank gold.

What is the coin bubble?

The coin bubble is the difference between the market price and the value of the gold in the coin (weight × 0.9 × ounce × dollar ÷ 31.1035). A high bubble usually shrinks when the market calms down. See the gold price for the intrinsic value and the dollar price that drives it.

Tips before buying coins

  • Buy sealed Central Bank packs from a reliable seller and keep the invoice.
  • Compare the bubble of the full, half and quarter coin; the lowest bubble in percent is usually the best value.
  • Coin prices move with the dollar and the ounce, so check both before you buy.
  • Set a free price alert to be notified when a coin reaches your target price.
  • Check the half and quarter coin pages for their own charts and daily history.
